Exclamations in Wolof punctuate mbalax beats on the radio; raised eyebrows and booming laughter frame the gestures of tall, lanky men. Senegalese people love to connect – and it’s not subtle. The scene doesn’t change when I reach my office, just the crowd, which consists of Dakar youth under age 25.
